Vintage 2021 had a mild growing season resulting in gradual and even ripening periods for Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit from our Walker and Dead Morris vineyards was picked in mid- April and fermented on skins for 20 days. ¬This wine was matured for 13 months in 36% new fine grain French oak barriques from Berger, Taransaud and Sylvain cooperages.

Plush dark mulberry and cassis on the nose. ¬The palate has intense, concentrated fruit complemented by dark chocolate, cedar spice and graphite notes from the oak. A very complex wine with smooth, supple tannins and fruit length reflective of the outstanding vintage.
