This is produced from vines planted in the '80s as cuttings taken from Best's ancient pinot planted in 1866.  Great Western Pinot Noir is known for its length, balance and bright fruit. Complex earthy flavours are the hallmarks of of these wines.  This Pinot Noir will blow your sensors.

This crackles with pleasure and the 50% whole bunches in the fermentation add sapidity as much as stemmy, albeit ripe, flavours. Cherries and pips, star anise and menthol, a palate that's light and bright with supple tannins and tangy citrussy acidity.
