Certified organic fruit from the Home Block vineyard. Whole bunch pressed to barrel for fermentation in French oak (20% new). Fresh and flinty aromas of pink grapefruit and nectarine. Bright palate of white peach, hazelnut and saline notes.
About the Winery
A leader in what is already a very strong organics and bio-dynamic wine making scene in NZ. The estate covers 3 organically certified hillside vineyards on the northern slops of the Waipara Valley in North Canterbury. The original Home Block was planted in 1993 and the newest vineyard was planted in 2012. The Netherwood Block is the oldest vineyard, planed in 1986.
