A decade ago I would have tagged Collector as a 'rising star' of the Canberra region to watch out for. These sentiments are very much now outdated as the winery has well and truly arrived as a highly competent maker of the varieties (Shiraz, Chardonnay, Riesling amongst others) that this blood y cold region is now famous for.

'Marked Tree' is the entry level Shiraz for the winery but hardly tastes like one. Expect pepper, spice, herbs; wrapped up in a strictly medium-bodied structure.

Cracking value really.
