With fruit that contributed to an intra-regional blend of fifth generation Barossa grape- growers, Aaron and Julie Southern were inspired to make a wine that would reflect their Shiraz vineyard on the western slopes of the Barossa Valley.
Aged in old & new French oak barrels, these wines are a true representation of the vineyard, wines drink well on release and will all benefit from short to medium term cellaring.
This 2021 Shiraz has a strong, deep purple, attractive hue. It is matured in new and seasoned French and American oak for between 12 – 24 months. Extremely aromatic and inviting with flavours of dark plum, black cherry, blueberry and hints of liquorice.
