Paper Mache Nero d'Avola 2022

"a give-away at the price" Winewise Championship 2023

Anyone like Italian varieties? I do, I love them and here's an Italian variety produced in Australia at a price that you don't see very often. The wine is Paper Mache Nero d'Avola 2022 and if you want to know how good it is, then consider it was awarded Best Italian Red Variety at the Winewise Championship 2023. Now there's a coup for a little $18.95 red if ever I've seen one.

What I like about the wine is that it really hits the spot, in terms of drinkability with a deliciously soft palate with medium tannins & good length. And read the review from Winewise below, they nailed it:

"The purple-crimson colour is eye-catching, and the nose is captivatingly perfumed and plummy – quite irresistible in fact. The soft-edged palate is crammed with delicious fruitiness. Ideal short-term drinking and a “give-away” at the price." 4 Stars & Highly Recommended"

As the Winewine say, this offers "Ideal short-term drinking and a “give-away” at the price." What more could you want from a cheeky little Nerp d'Avola for $18.95 with a trophy in the boot?. Limited stocks. Get in quick.
