"The Saint Clair ‘Wairau Reserve’ Sauvignon Blanc is Saint Clair’s flagship wine and one of the best Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. It is consistently and unashamedly fully-expressive of the the passionfruity flavours which have been seen as controversial in the past, as they are associated with reductive characters, but there is no denying the market’s acceptance of the style both domestically and internationally.

The Saint Clair winemaking team led by Hamish Clark and Stewart Maclennan go through a strict selection process each year for the ‘Wairau Reserve’ wine. Often it is a blend of parcels and vineyards, and often it can be the produce of a single vineyard. So interestingly the wine can vary in its source, rather than reflect a single site.
