Stage Door Wine Co. GSM 2023
Trophy – Best Grenache Blend of Show
2023 National Wine Show of Australia
A blend of 46.2/28.8/25% grenache/shiraz/mataro. Bright magenta with purple tones. A nice slurpy nose of super-ripe red plum, macerated berry fruits, mulberry and sour cherry with hints of clove, cola, pressed flowers, red licorice and berry cream. The wine sports a spacious mouthfeel, a superb chalky tannin profile and is juicy, bouncy and irresistibly easy to drink. Very nice indeed.” 92 Points & Special Value Wine Dave Brookes for Halliday’s Wine Companion
The fruit for this relatively new label is sourced predominantly off high quality family vineyards in the Eden Valley (Eden Hall Wines) as well as selected single vineyards in the Barossa Valley. Terrific quality and consistency across the entire range.
